Mapusa Police on Saturday arrested a native of Sindhudurg, Maharashtra for stealing a cable checking machine worth Rs 1.23 lakh.
The accused, Bhiva Varandekar (20) was apprehended and the cable checking machine has also been recovered from him, police said.
A police official informed that the accused stole the machine from the office of the cable operator at Keni-vaddo, Mapusa on
January 25.
Police managed to gather information from sources and finally nabbed the accused and recovered the
machine.
Mapusa Police is
investigating further.
